For Nate's 3rd Birthday we headed over to Santa Cruz for a weekend of riding the rails.

Our first ride was on the Steam Train into the forest.
Watching all the steam overhead.

Back at the hotel it was time for presents.
Even Jack got a gift - his awesome kraken sweater handmade by Grammy.

The next morning we took the train to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Jack was chosen by the conductor to talk into the microphone to the engineer and give him a "high ball."
