It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Today we met the Phillips Family up at Yosemite for a day of sledding. This was Jack's first experience in the snow. He was a BIG FAN!

Don't worry - he should have stayed pretty warm under those 20 layers.

Claire decided to brave the kiddie sled run.

Great job. She didn't even wipe out.

Jack was so impressed he insisted on going himself.

"That looks pretty steep Dad."

Awesome run boys!

He immediately wanted to go again. At least I know I have a roller coaster partner now (Ryan is a wuss.)

Jack trying to warm up his nose... or maybe sneak a kiss from Dad.

Defrosting.

The 3 Amigos - winter edition.

"See Jack, that is how you do a proper triple toe loop."

Jack and Godmamma doing some dancing.

Catchin' some flakes.

Jack built up the courage to ask Dad to take him down the BIG run.

"Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

"Oh man, look up ahead... Susie's in the way!"

Crash, or as Jack would say, "Down!"

Turkey Day '10

We started off our holiday with a trip up to Bass Pro Shops to visit Santa (see previous post). While we were waiting to give the big guy our order for the year, they had TONS of things for little guys to stay busy with... remote control trucks, slot cars, shooting ranges, electric trains, video games...everything. And the best part was that all the kids were able to run all the toys by themselves. Jack can't wait until he is just a little bit bigger so he can play instead of just watch.

This was the monster truck pit. Jack kept signing to the boys playing for more, more, more action!

This guy loves trucks!

Happy Turkey Day 2010

Looking for trouble...

What me - do something naughty???

We started with some horse riding (thanks Grandaddy for being the stunt horse).

Then we did some tractor riding
(Jack is signing "more" as they came around for the second loop)

During dinner Jack decided he wanted to have a little shower...

This turned into full blown water boarding.

Yes, this is a 20 month old playing with my iPhone. He can run his own applications and games. This one is Larry the Bird. You can poke him and he repeats what you say.

Now let's take a trip down memory lane. Do you remember how cute little Jack was last Thanksgiving? Such an adorable little outfit - ready to try his first Turkey meal...

Now...

Oh my... how our fashion sense has matured!

Sweet boots Jack.

Big Boy

Jack wants to grow up so badly. We were at Toys 'R Us this weekend and he found the bike aisle. He could not have been more excited to sit on a bike almost his size. Just don't tell him he still has quite some time before he can really get those pedals around! Can't you just see the hope in his eyes that maybe he can sucker us into a purchase? Sorry Jack - maybe next year buddy.

Make-Up Pictures

These are all pictures of past events taken from our good friends, the Phillips', camera:

HALLOWEEN

Superman, Robin (Why do I always have to be Robin???) and Buzz!

You can't tell from the picture, but this Halloween "whirly-pop thingy" lit up and spun when you pushed the button. This was Jack's reaction.

Doug thought it would be funny to be "me at work" for Halloween. Very funny, Doug... Veeeeeeery funny.

Alice, Buzz Lightyear, Hungry Luigi, Goldilocks

Do you feel safer knowing these guys are there to protect all of mankind?

A perfect Halloween surprise for Amy that I found behind the TV in the bedroom!!!

DOUG'S 30th BIRTHDAY FIESTA

Amy was the fastest tequila-slinger this side of Juarez!

They enjoy long walks on the beach, discos and hot-tubbing...

Jack was all about Doug's birthday gift and was ready to take off on it himself!

SUSIE'S 5th BIRTHDAY PARTY

Attempting to pose like the princess his mom is forcing to be.
So sad...

In the bounce-house!
