First Day of School

The big boys started school this week.  Jack has Mrs. Bjarke and is in 1st grade. Nathan has Miss Meade and Miss Carissa and is in Pre-School. Both boys were so excited for their new class!!!

Jack and his best friend Brandon even had desks next to each other! (I give that arrangement about 2 days😜)

6 Months Old

Today Parker turns 6 months old!

He has just figured out how to sit up and is very proud of himself!!

But I still get a few moments to snuggle my little man.

Today is also our 12 year wedding anniversary.

And things don't get boring around here...even after all these years...

Lake Day

The Chicken of the Sea rides again! After a year off the water the boat was ready... But not as ready as the boys were!!
Today was Parker's first trip out on the boat. He was incredible!! "Best baby ever" is what we like to call him.

Still smiling even in that life jacket- amazing

Little more comfy hanging in his cove.

Nate got brave this year and tried out the water ski trainer.

Not to be outdone by his younger brother, Jack showed us his moves too.

Great day on the lake!

Mother's Day

First Mother's Day with my #3!

Parker was really excited to cheer on Nathan at his baseball game yesterday but then got distracted chewing on his harness... and then fell asleep.

We got Grammy a pair of turtles for her pond. They lived in our bathtub for a few days and the boys had so much fun playing (i.e. torturing) them!

Jack constantly asks completely random questions from out of nowhere. Here is a small sample of just a few from this morning:

-What color are a shark's eyes?
-Where do you buy a Venus Fly Trap?
-Why do cowboys throw their hats in the air when they are excited?
-How do you raise money for Children's Hospital?
-What does dynamite look like?

We can't keep up with this child! Happy Mother's Day!

Funny Car

A woman who lives around the corner from the boys' school drops her kids off every morning in a golf cart (much to their embarrassment!). Our boys have always called it the "funny car" and love to see it! Last night she stopped and asked the boys if they wanted a ride. Best day ever!

Boys and Their Swords

Daddy bought some swords. Mommy wasn't super excited about the swords. So naturally, the boys LOVE the swords...

Holding Parker

The boys love to hold their baby brother.

Thank You, Super Grammy!

When she came to visit for Easter, Super Grammy delivered a hand-made quilt to Baby Parker, just like she has for every child, grandchild and great-grandchild in the Lawler family- AMAZING! This one is one of my favorites with a super cute alphabet theme.

I also have to include the following "thank you" letter from Jack to Super Grammy. For Christmas, she got him a Lego police station with an attached jail. I asked Jack to go draw a picture to say thanks and when he returned a half hour later he had come up with this all on his own:

There is a lot going on there with the step-by-step instructions but my favorite has got to be the Lego criminal with the C-notes floating around his head! Too funny!

Random Pictures

At the races- what a good baby!

The Easter Bunny left a Grimlock costume!

Diggin' in the back yard!

More fishing; Nathan caught a whopper!!!

Jack applied his own sunscreen!
