Relative Roulette

Here are the rest of the pictures from Jack's complete cross-state tour of Washington. He got to meet almost every family member and friend and was passed around like a little hot potato the entire time. If you got your picture taken with Jack and the photo hasn't been posted yet, it's probably here!

Aunt Millie, Booger, Jack and Wild Uncle Bill. Yes, I am known as "Booger". Want to fight?

Aunt Millie

Great Aunt Colleen- She LOVES that title!

Lunch with Jack's Great Grandma and the James family.

Great Grandma and my great aunt, Sister Mary

Sister Yvonne made the cut, too!

Jack LOVED Sister Mary!

Grammy and Grandaddy, a.k.a. "The Rickster"

We actually got to hold him long enough for a picture down on the Tacoma waterfront.

Hugh and Yole

Great Aunt Kathy

Jack slept on Granny Franny for almost three hours one night!
Gramma Jean

Gramma Jean loved reading to Jack

Auntie T.C.

At his current rate of growth, Jack should be able to make the UW Husky team as a linebacker in just a few years.

We had to break it to Jack that Cougars cheat at everything. This made him very angry!

At 3 1/2 months, his eyes are still an amazing steel blue. We hope they stay that way!

Finally, at the end of the day, Jack got to relax with Ziggy. Whew! What a trip!

Cousin Ellie at Cousin Camp

At Cousin Camp, Jack met Elisa's 18-month-old daughter, Ellen. This was Jack's first experience dealing with a woman who wanted to be in charge (other than his mother, of course). I kind of felt bad for the little guy, but I figured it was for the best that he learn this aspect of life sooner rather than later.

The initial meeting- very pleasant!

Ellie liked Jack very much and was even willing to share her blanket with him- how sweet!

Aunt Mary demonstrates how to properly pacify an infant.

Ellie was a quick student and immediately followed suit: "BE PACIFIED!!!"

In fact, she was very pleased with her abilities.

Later, we tried again. Poor Jack wasn't too sure about repeating the whole process, though.

"Am I doing it right, Mom?"

"You know, a little more leverage would really help. That's the trick!"

What's even more fun than pacifiers? Trading socks!!!

"I'm tired of playing with boys. They're boring."

Cousin Camp '09- Cama Beach, WA

The whole gang- except for Jack, who was napping during this spontaneous group photo.

Cold weather Baby Bjorn-ing

Really, really cold weather Baby Bjorn-ing...

Enough #&$*!$@ Baby Bjorn-ing already.

Mmmmm... Levis...

Great Grammy (a.k.a. "Super Grammy") Lawler quilted this AWESOME blanket, but Jack was still too tired of Baby Bjorn-ing to show very much appreciation.

After a late night with Uncle John.

Must have been a REAL late night...

Good thing Aunt Elaine was on hand to "terminate" any ill-mannered behavior. Otherwise, things might have gotten out of control...

Happy Jack

Jack has finally learned to giggle. Tonight when I got home from work Jack couldn't stop laughing.

Cousin Camp here we come

Every couple of years Ryan's family all get together for Cousin Camp. This year we spent 5 days at Cama Beach on Camano Island. We started the trip off with a walking tour of Pike Place Market.

We tried to wake him up with some tea
