Christmas - Round Two

Now that we are up in Washington, we started Christmas early and tried to spread out the gift opening to avoid overload (ask me how that well worked later) - (note my sarcasm).

Gramma Jean asked Jack to go ahead and pick one present to open early. And of course he went straight for the biggest one in the room. Luckily, it was actually for him so we didn't have to tell him "no".

"A Wagon!!!"

We still can't convince Jack that the presents are better than the boxes they come in.

Inside his new fort.

Auntie TC came through with a Buzz Lightyear action figure! Awesome!!

Jack and Buzz getting ready to go "to Infinity and Beyond"!

He had to make sure there wasn't anything left in the toe of the stocking.

Walking around with a pajama-helmet.

A Buzz Lightyear and a Garbage Truck?!?!?!  Auntie TC- you rock!!!

Sponge Bob jammies!

Christmas- Round One

Jack's Godweasel, Godmamma, Susie and Claire got him an art easel to spark all of his creative energy!

 "Oh WOW...an art easel!"

"Cheese"

Because we head up to Washington for Christmas, we celebrated with Ryan's family the weekend before.

"Oh snap!"

I searched high and low for an ornament that resembled a garage for Jack this year (since that is his FAVORITE thing this in the world).  Luckily Grammy came through with a custom, hand-crafted garage ornament.

 Awesome!

He was not so sure about this electric toothbrush thingy.

After Jack opened this firetruck he was not interested in receiving any other gifts. Period.  He actually said "no" to opening anything else.

Grammy made Jack a new jacket.

Check out that helicoptor!

Jack loved it!

In honor of the rattlesnake that bit Rick's dog, Maverick, he received this nice gift that TOTALLY freaked him out and everyone else had a lot of fun with.

Putting on Daddy's shoes.

Old MacDonald's Farm

Grammy was able to teach Jack how to sing Old MacDonald's Farm and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  It is now a requirement that we sing as we drive.

Apple Cup 2010

We didn't do anything too exciting for Apple Cup this year - just had a nice afternoon at home watching the game.  Jack was way into it this year.  He is a future Husky for sure!!

It was starting to look bad...

"Don't tell me we are going to overtime!!!"

"He caught the ball - TOUCHDOWN!!!"

 "Extra point is good!!!"

 "Go Dawgs!!!"

Apple Cup Winners!!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Today we met the Phillips Family up at Yosemite for a day of sledding. This was Jack's first experience in the snow. He was a BIG FAN!

Don't worry - he should have stayed pretty warm under those 20 layers.

Claire decided to brave the kiddie sled run.

Great job. She didn't even wipe out.

Jack was so impressed he insisted on going himself.

"That looks pretty steep Dad."

Awesome run boys!

He immediately wanted to go again. At least I know I have a roller coaster partner now (Ryan is a wuss.)

Jack trying to warm up his nose... or maybe sneak a kiss from Dad.

Defrosting.

The 3 Amigos - winter edition.

"See Jack, that is how you do a proper triple toe loop."

Jack and Godmamma doing some dancing.

Catchin' some flakes.

Jack built up the courage to ask Dad to take him down the BIG run.

"Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

"Oh man, look up ahead... Susie's in the way!"

Crash, or as Jack would say, "Down!"
