Daddy's Little Helper
Jack is fascinated with the lawn mower. What an amazing power tool - it cuts grass - you push it - it's loud - what could be better??? Sooo Mommy found this super cool mower that makes the same sweet power sound but also blows bubbles. Stupid Mommy - you can't fool little boys....
I'll help him out over on this side.
Weird - I must have missed a spot.
Something must be wrong - it won't cut the grass.
Dad - I need some help over here. Its all in the way you push it buddy.
Let's race!
We'll try it together. (Don't worry - it's not really running)
What??? No blade??? That's the problem! Mom - what are you trying to pull over on me???
I'll take this into my own hands.
At least I can help with the sweeping.
Dang this handle is tall.
Thanks for all your hard work today Jack!
Prince Ali
Grammy and Grandaddy Rickster took a very long trip over to the Ukraine and Turkey. While doing some shopping they came across this.... Jack now thinks he is ruler of his palace!

Swim Day
The weather FINALLY got hot enough for us to really break in the pool (although Jack still thought the water was way too cold).

Check out Jack's cool new shades - just like Mommy's...
We also learned how to drink out of our own water bottle.

Jack's Kitty Hugs
Poor old Itchy - Jack loves him so much. He often follows him around giving him "hugs"...
Jack's Nose
I have been working so hard on teaching Jack where his nose is. He showed Daddy and me where it was several times but absolutely refused to show us when the camera was on him. I think I literally followed him around for almost a whole day with the video camera. This was the best I got. Good thing I was able to record this because for the last few days he has completely forgotten what a nose is or where it is supposed to be. Oh well...

Happy Cinco de Mayo
Drew and Scott's Wedding 5-15-10
Our friends Drew and Scott got married yesterday. We were lucky that our whole family got to celebrate with them. Jack hung in pretty late cutting it up on the dance floor.
During the cocktail hour Jack discovered oranges. This was a life changing moment for him. He kept an orange with him through the entire dinner and into the night.
Now dinner time and Jack still has an orange.

Play Time
Because I work during the week and miss out on all those hours with Jack I decided for Mother's Day I just wanted to play him with him all day. I asked for this super cool ball pit (the sweet kind like Chuckie Cheese but without all the urine ;0) because I just knew Jack would love it.
Here is a video of his introduction to the new toy.

Dad - are you going to put me in here with these girls???
I think they might have COOTIES!
