My dad and my Uncle Craig drove my mom down to stay with us for 2 weeks. What a trooper - 30 total hours of driving with only a 2 day visit.
Tell me your stories Uncle Craig!

A Father's Day Poem
Here is a poem about why I love my daddy - by Jack
There once was a Dad named Ryan
He taught me to roar like a lion
He rocks me in his chair
Neither of us has much hair
And he never leaves me just cryin'
Happy 1st Father's Day Daddy - You are the best! I love you so much - Jack
Bubbles Bubbles Everywhere...
Gramma Jean brought this crazy fun new toy - bubbles. Watch them totally freak Jack out and then make him laugh and laugh...

2 Month Checkup
Jack is becoming quite a big boy. At his two month checkup this week he weighed a whopping 13lbs 11oz and was 24 1/2 inches long. That means he almost doubled his weight in two months! Dr. Lattin suggested we enter him in the pumpkin growing competition at the fair this year - I think we might have a winner on our hands :) These are some of the pictures after he recovered from getting two shots that wrecked his world for a while.
I had a long day at work, Mom. Bring me the remote and a cold milk... make it a chocolate!

Gramps and the Great Grands In da House

Jack relaxing in Grandpa's arms

Talking with Mom and TC over Skype

Jack and I checking out the beautiful ceiling fan... it's true love!

Gramps and Jack snuggling on the couch

Gramps told Jack all of his gardening secrets. Daddy is hoping that included how to use the lawn mower :)

Gramps and Jack had some morning bonding as they walked the yard looking at flowers
The dogs, feeling neglected, formed a backyard gang. Max sat on top of Sophie to get her back for all the times she took him down running around the yard.

Jack's "Girlfriend"
"Flo" the Fan
Jack's first love-of-his-life appears to be... well, his ceiling fan. Now affectionately called "Flo", he stares at her constantly and it doesn't seem to matter if she's turned on or not. Even when eating, he strains his head to make sure she is always within his sight. He will quite often look at her and smile and laugh and then turn his head away in a very flirtatious manner. This has been going on for weeks now, so this is clearly not just coincidence. As a responsible father, I have already set the rule that the two of them cannot be in his room together with the door closed!
